Continuous, dependable illumination
The standard configuration provides direct switch-controlled lighting with high luminous efficiency (up to 120 lm/W). Ideal for commercial corridors, staircases, plant rooms, and general utility areas where manual or centralized timer switching is used.
- CCT Switchable: Selectable colour temperatures (2700K / 3000K / 4000K / 5000K / 6000K) via internal dip switch.
- Robust Protection: Fully sealed IP54 weatherproofing paired with IK10 impact protection.
- Driver Reliability: Long-life LED driver with high power factor (PF > 0.90) and flicker-free output.
Intelligent presence detection
Integrated high-frequency microwave motion sensor seamlessly hidden behind the polycarbonate diffuser. Automatically illuminates when occupancy is detected and dims or powers off when areas remain unoccupied.
- Adjustable Detection: 360° ceiling or 150° wall coverage with up to 6–8m detection radius.
- Daylight Threshold: Configurable lux sensor prevents unnecessary daylight triggering (2 Lux / 10 Lux / 50 Lux / Disable).
- Hold Time & Standby: Adjustable hold-time (5s to 30min) with optional bi-level corridor dimming.
3-Hour self-contained battery backup
Equipped with an integrated LiFePO4 emergency battery pack and smart monitoring circuit. In the event of mains power failure, the luminaire instantly switches to battery operation, providing compliant egress lighting along escape routes.
- 3-Hour Duration: High-temperature LiFePO4 battery pack delivering dependable 180-minute backup.
- LED Status Indicator: Discreet dual-color green/red LED indicator for clear charging and diagnostic feedback.
- Maintained / Non-Maintained: Configurable for continuous or emergency-only illumination.

Is an emergency version available?
Yes. A 3-hour self-contained emergency version with long-life LiFePO4 battery pack and 2–3W output is available for project safety compliance.
Can I specify a motion sensor?
Yes. MC-801 can be integrated with an internal 5.8 GHz microwave motion & daylight sensor for automated presence detection in corridors and stairwells.
